Blockchain Analysis: What a Transaction File Can Show

Blockchain analysis is reading a public ledger. It can show where a send went next. It cannot unlock a site or replace the police. We investigate losses as a cybersecurity company — we do not replace the bank, the card scheme, or the police.

What it can show

The useful part of the trail

  • The transaction id, the amount and the time.
  • The next hops while the coins stay on a public chain.
  • A landing at an exchange or a mixer — that is a fact on the chain, not a name.
  • Whether two payments share an address already in a public file.
What it cannot do

A hop is not a person

A wallet is not a passport. KYC sits with the exchange or the bank, and with the police if they ask for it. We investigate the trail. We do not replace those channels.

Send the transaction and the date. Send the date and how you paid. The first look at the file is free.

Use

When blockchain analysis helps

  • You paid in crypto and still have the tx.You only have a screenshot of a dashboard and no tx.
  • The coins moved on a public chain. The 'coin' never existed outside their website.
  • You want the file for the bank or the police. You want a firm to 'pull the money back' from a chat.
Send this

A blockchain analysis file

Transaction id

One is enough to open the look.

The wallet you paid

Copy it from the explorer, not from memory.

The story that asked for it

The message, the URL or the person. The chain does not store that.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can blockchain analysis name the person who was paid?

Not by itself. It can show the next address and often the service the coins reached. A name sits with that service or with the police.

The coins went through a mixer. Is the file dead?

No. The first hop and the date still belong in the file. We tell you what is visible and what is not.

Do you take a wallet over?

No. We do not hold the account. We investigate the transaction you send.
