TradeFD Review — Is TradeFD a Scam?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold this account, we cannot close a balance, and we do not phone you as this firm.

Yes. TradeFD is an unregulated forex/CFD brand (also trading as TradeFDC, tradefdc.com) with a London address it cannot back — multiple documented withdrawal refusals, including $12k and $25k cases, and a review page polluted with recovery-scam spam. The notices are written once, in the block below. If you paid tradefd.com, the date and how you paid are the part this review cannot see.

The record

What the notices say

  • Withdrawal refusals documented: $12,000 invested (24 Jun 2025), $36,100 “profit” shown, withdrawal approved then never paid — “don’t invest… forex means scammer” (15 Oct 2025); another user: $7,000 in, $45,000 shown, $25,000 withdrawal never received, with a “Cyprus company” referenced (Aug 2024).
  • Rating divergence that smells: the UK Trustpilot shows 3.0/5 over only 42 reviews while older IE/AU mirrors show 4.3/5 — the classic pattern of incentivised or fake positives mixed with genuine scam reports (Jan 2025–Nov 2026).
  • No regulation found: no FCA authorisation under “TradeFD” (verify on the register); WikiFX calls it not safe or reliable with “seemingly fake regulatory credentials”; a Reddit r/Scams thread warns “TradeFD (tradefd.com) is a SCAM – crypto ‘scholarship’”.
  • The review thread is contaminated with recovery-scam spam (“Topciphertrails”, “tradeclaim”, “globaltraderecovery” claiming £47,000/$12,000 recoveries) — treat those as evidence that victims exist, and as a warning: anyone citing those usernames is running the second scam.
  • Dual branding tradefd.com / tradefdc.com with a London address (125 Old Broad St) and UK phone that unregulated operators use as set dressing.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • dashboard “profits” several times your deposit
  • withdrawal approved, then never sent
  • account managers (“Mr. Vikram”, “Yash”) stopping mid-conversation
  • pressure to upgrade to a $5,000–6,000 “pro account”
  • recovery-scam spam in the review thread itself — a tell-tale of a live victim pool
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my TradeFD account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at tradefd.com. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as TradeFD.

TradeFD says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
