What the notices say

  • OSC warning (24 Apr 2026): SIMNA Artificial Intelligence Services (aka Maple Quant) is not registered in Ontario (CSA I-SCAN).
  • Schroders maintains an official scam-prevention page warning that WhatsApp groups are falsely using its name and referencing “Maple Quant Phase II”: victims are lured with games and prediction prizes, then sold “AI maximisers” (Schroders, accessed 2026). Schroders confirmed on Instagram: the Maple Quant program and “Gerald Winfield” have no association with Schroders and are possibly a scam.
  • The personas: “Dr. Gerald Winfield” and “Nina Kaye” — scammer aliases documented in Facebook scam-warning groups (2025–2026).
  • Double impersonation, stated plainly: no affiliation with Schroders and none with SS&C's SIMNA (Scientific Investment Management North America). The real firms are the victims here.
