The platform is gone, and this story has two sides that both have to be told exactly. My Forex Funds was one of the largest forex prop firms ever built — frozen by the CFTC in September 2023, never reopened — and in 2025 the court sanctioned the CFTC itself for how it ran the case. Neither fact cancels the other. Here is the whole record, and what it means if your money is still inside it.
Send this to Forensics Source GroupMy Forex Funds was one of the largest forex prop firms ever built — founded in 2020, roughly 135,000 customers and about $310M in evaluation fees — until 1 September 2023, when the CFTC filed a fraud complaint (D.N.J. 23-cv-11808) and won an asset freeze, alongside an OSC temporary cease-trade order against the Canadian side.
Then the case collapsed in a remarkable way. In May 2025 the court dismissed the CFTC's case with prejudice, finding the agency had “acted willfully and in bad faith” — it had concealed an OSC email confirming that C$31.5M in transfers were legitimate tax payments. On 14 July 2025 (Reuters) the court ordered the CFTC to pay Traders Global more than $3.1M in legal fees; four CFTC attorneys and one investigator were placed on leave, and Acting Chair Caroline Pham called the conduct “inexcusable.”
Read both halves exactly: the dismissal punished the CFTC's procedural misconduct — it is not a merits exoneration, and the underlying allegations (simulated “live” accounts, the firm as concealed counterparty, artificial slippage and latency, hidden commissions) were never tried and never proven. What is certain either way: the freeze locked customer fees and payouts mid-case in September 2023, the firm never reopened, and the OSC's cease-trade order against the Canadian entity stands on its own track.
As of October 2026, myforexfund.com is the domain no longer responds at all. There is no functioning platform, no support channel, and no one answering withdrawal requests under this name.
A legitimate operator in trouble publishes notices, appoints administrators and talks to its clients. A fraud operation simply goes dark. This is the dark pattern — and if the name comes back later as a “successor platform” contacting former users, treat it as the next phase of the same scheme, not a rescue. Put your energy into the trace instead: the money trail is the one asset that does not vanish with the website.
Both timelines belong in your notes. Side one: 1 Sep 2023 — CFTC fraud complaint and asset freeze, OSC temporary cease-trade; customer fees and payouts locked mid-case (OSC record; Finance Magnates, 15 Sep 2023). Side two: May 2025 — dismissal with prejudice for willful, bad-faith conduct including the concealed OSC email on C$31.5M of legitimate tax payments; 14 Jul 2025 — court orders the CFTC to pay Traders Global $3.1M-plus in legal fees, four attorneys and one investigator placed on leave, the Acting Chair calling the conduct “inexcusable” (Reuters). And the standing facts: the firm never reopened, and the OSC order against the Canadian entity remains. For former customers, the practical legacy is an unresolved claims position, not a verdict — treat any third party promising an MFF payout or account reactivation as hostile until the claim process, if any, is announced through official channels.
Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. One of those is enough. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action.
Not cleanly, on the available record — and that imprecision is the point of this page. “Not a scam proven” is accurate: the CFTC's allegations were dismissed with prejudice over the agency's own bad-faith conduct and never adjudicated on the merits. “Fully exonerated” is also inaccurate: the court sanctioned the prosecution, not the business model, and no court ever ruled the simulated-account and conflict-of-interest claims were false. The two facts that need no adjudication: customers' money was frozen in September 2023 and the firm never reopened, and the OSC's Canadian order was never withdrawn. If someone today offers to “reactivate” My Forex Funds or recover your MFF balance for a fee, that offer is the scam.
Fraud platforms shut down when new deposits stop covering withdrawal demands — or when enforcement attention gets close. The domain gets parked, sold or left to rot. A vanished site is itself evidence.

We add it to the investigation of My Forex Funds: the payment, the person who asked for it, and the public record already on this page. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
