MONAXA Review — Is MONAXA a Scam?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold this account, we cannot close a balance, and we do not phone you as this firm.

Yes. MONAXA is an offshore FX and CFD broker claiming South African FSCA regulation, offering forex, commodities, indices, crypto and shares with copy trading. The notices are written once, in the block below. If you paid monaxa.com, the date and how you paid are the part this review cannot see.

What the notices say

  • WikiFX score 3.62/10 with “Warning: Low score, please stay away!”, a “High Potential Risk” label and 7 recorded user complaints.
  • Claims a South Africa FSCA licence (53184) but also a Mauritius FSC number, with the registered region shown as Anguilla and article text saying SVG — an inconsistent corporate story.
  • Washington State's Department of Financial Institutions issued an investor alert on Monaxa in April 2025 for unregistered off-exchange solicitation; Japan and Malaysia have also issued investor alerts, per the DFI.
  • Copy-trading focus, leverage up to 1:4000 and a $15 minimum deposit — classic high-risk offshore targeting; WikiFX also notes the official website is intermittently inaccessible.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • regulator investor alerts instead of a clean record — Washington State DFI (April 2025), plus Japan and Malaysia
  • a corporate story that shifts between Anguilla, SVG, South Africa and Mauritius depending on where you look
  • extreme-leverage marketing (up to 1:4000) aimed at small deposits
  • an official website that goes dark for stretches at a time
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my MONAXA account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at monaxa.com. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as MONAXA.

MONAXA says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
