Lunar Capital Review — Is Lunar Capital a Scam?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold this account, we cannot close a balance, and we do not phone you as this firm.

Yes. Lunar Capital is a forex/CFD “broker” claiming a UK base and “IFMMRC regulation” — a regulator that does not exist — running a friendly-mentor funnel that ends in controlled withdrawals and ghosted victims The notices are written once, in the block below. If you paid lunarcapital.org, the date and how you paid are the part this review cannot see.

What the notices say

  • Trustpilot 1.8/5 (22 reviews, listing checked 31 Mar 2026): repeated withdrawal-block reports spanning Nov 2024 to Mar 2026, with named “employees” (Karl Rodriguez, Celine Ramos, Jack Garcia, Klye Martinez) believed to be fake identities.
  • WikiFX is blunt: “No. Not regulated. Says UK base but FCA does not authorize it” — and the IFMMRC named on the site is not a real regulator, the classic fake-licence tell.
  • The documented MO: a friendly “mentor” teaches manual trading, requests ID and bank details as legitimacy theatre, deposits are accepted smoothly, then withdrawals are controlled and delayed until contact is cut (detailed account 11 Aug 2025; a Dec 2024 “life savings” report).
  • Cold-calling with urgency hooks: a near-victim report (10 Jan 2025) describes being pressed to “join while NFP is ongoing”.
  • Advance-fee escalation: Trustpilot page-two snippets describe “clearance fees” demanded before withdrawal — and the page is heavily spammed by recovery scammers, a warning in itself.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • a WhatsApp or Telegram “mentor” who becomes your best friend
  • ID and bank-details requests dressed as verification
  • withdrawals delayed pending “clearance fees”
  • named staff who turn out to be stock photos
  • recovery scammers arriving immediately in the same threads
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my Lunar Capital account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at lunarcapital.org. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as Lunar Capital.

Lunar Capital says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
