Glofen Review — Is Glofen a Scam?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold this account, we cannot close a balance, and we do not phone you as this firm.

Yes and no. The real Glofen is a regulated broker — IC Markets is ASIC-regulated at icmarkets.com. But the site that took your money may not have been the real one. Fake 'Glofen' domains are an industry by themselves, and we investigate them constantly.

The short answer

The real IC Markets is ASIC-regulated — glofen.com is not them

First, the good news — the real brand checks out:

  • The real IC Markets operates only at icmarkets.com, ASIC-regulated, with its registration checkable in ASIC’s professional register.
  • IC Markets has no affiliation with glofen.com and publicly warns about lookalike domains using its name.

Now the bad news — the clones:

  • glofen.com presents itself as “IC Markets Global”, misusing the IC Markets brand name, logo and regulatory claims.
  • WikiFX separately records Glofen as an unregulated HYIP-style platform advertising 1.5%–5% daily returns, $500 minimum deposits and 1:1000 leverage — a product profile the real IC Markets does not offer.

If the site you used is not the official domain — icmarkets.com — it was not Glofen. It was someone wearing its name.

Sort your situation

Real-platform dispute or impersonation fraud?

Both feel identical from the inside. They are fixed by completely different routes — and the fastest way to tell them apart is to ask three questions.

If it is the real platform: your dispute runs through its formal complaints process, then the regulator or ombudsman. Slow, but it usually works.

If it was an impersonator: you were never a customer of Glofen at all. A clone site, a fake “account manager”, a lookalike domain — the money went to criminals, not to the platform. That is fraud, and speed decides what can be recovered.

The three questions: did you type the official domain yourself, or follow a link, advert or message? Did anyone contact you first? Were you asked to pay a personal account or a different domain? If any answer is wrong, treat it as impersonation — and start here.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Glofen a scam?

The real Glofen, no — it is regulated and verifiable (IC Markets is ASIC-regulated at icmarkets.com). The fake 'Glofen' sites, yes: cloned domains impersonating it are documented, including the ones listed above, and that is where the losses happen.

How do I check the site I used was genuine?

Type the official domain yourself — icmarkets.com — never follow a link from an ad, email or message. Then check the regulator's public register, which lists the firm's genuine website. If your domain differs by even one character, it was a fake.

I deposited with glofen.com. What is enough to send?

The domain you used, the date, and whether you paid by card, bank transfer, or crypto. Or the name of the person who told you to pay. Or one screenshot. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.

How much does it cost to talk to you?

The case assessment is free and confidential. If we take your case, we explain the costs before you commit to anything. You will never pay to hear an honest answer.
