What the notices say

  • A Reddit r/Scams report (August 2026) describes a hacked Discord friend sending foldwin.com, a promo code, and a warning of a $2,500 bonus. Withdrawal required a deposit. Commenters noted the domain was registered on 9 August 2026 and matched the fake crypto-gambling template KrebsOnSecurity has described, including spread through compromised Discord accounts.
  • ScamAdviser scores app.foldwin.com at 0: hidden WHOIS, very young, cryptocurrency services, reported for phishing by IPQS and as a threat by DNSFilter, and flagged by Gridinsoft.
  • The person who posted got out at the deposit step. That step is the business model. Do not fund it to “unlock” a bonus that was never real.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • a friend on Discord whose account was taken over
  • a promo code and a bonus already sitting in the account
  • a deposit demanded before the bonus can move
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my Foldwin account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at foldwin.com. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as Foldwin.

Foldwin says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
