What the notices say

  • OSC warning batch of 3–24 Feb 2026 (published 24 Feb 2026): “ESET Trading” named as unregistered in Ontario; IOSCO I-SCAN lists “ESET Trading, esettrading.com, Ontario — Ontario Securities Commission” (Feb 2026).
  • ESET (Bratislava) has no trading or investment product line of any kind — its business is endpoint security. Any “ESET” financial offering is outside everything the real company does.
  • The domain esettrading.com is unreachable at research time (24 Oct 2026) — consistent with disposable clone behaviour.
  • Framing, open and close: this scam operation is unaffiliated with ESET, spol. s r.o.; the real company is a victim of the name theft, and victims should report through ESET's brand-abuse channel as well as to regulators.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • a trusted cybersecurity name doing trust work for a fake broker
  • a domain that lived briefly and died
  • zero victims found — the brand was short-lived
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my ESET Trading account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at esettrading.com. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as ESET Trading.

ESET Trading says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
