Echobit Review — Is Echobit a Scam?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold this account, we cannot close a balance, and we do not phone you as this firm.

Yes. Echobit is an offshore-style crypto exchange (spot and futures to 200x) marketed through referral-code spam and inflated licence claims. The notices are written once, in the block below. If you paid echobit.com, the date and how you paid are the part this review cannot see.

What the notices say

  • It touts “MSB Licensed — US & Canada”: a FinCEN MSB registration is not a licence, and FinCEN itself warns (Alert FIN-2024-Alert005) against presenting it as an endorsement.
  • Claims of a Czech VASP registration and Korean CODE/VV Alliance memberships could not be verified in our research, and no AUSTRAC registration exists for its AU-facing service.
  • Its growth is spam-driven: “1,000+ influencer partnerships”, GitHub referral-code repositories promising a “210 USDT reward” (April 2025), and homepage counters stuck at “0+ users / $0M+ volume”.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • referral-bonus traps that require deposits to “unlock”
  • unverifiable licence claims
  • inflated user and volume counters
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my Echobit account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at echobit.com. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as Echobit.

Echobit says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
