Coinprofits Review — Is Coinprofits a Scam?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold this account, we cannot close a balance, and we do not phone you as this firm.

Yes. Coinprofits is a 2020 crypto-profit site whose own customer, writing in public, paid verification fees and a “stolen trader” levy and received nothing The notices are written once, in the block below. If you paid coinprofits.club, the date and how you paid are the part this review cannot see.

The record

What the notices say

  • BitcoinTalk, 30 April 2020, a first-person account of coinprofits.club: a deposit, a rising balance, a 7-day trade lock, then an $850 account-verification fee that had not been disclosed, which the poster paid. On 4 May 2020 the same poster wrote that a further 10% “trader stole money” charge was also paid, taking the outlay from about $200 to about $2,200, with nothing returned. Contact was via Instagram, under the names Rose Gallagher, Tara Moore and Byron Perreira, with a claimed London base and poor English.
  • The fee sequence is the fraud: verification, then a new percentage, each one required before the last one “completes”.
  • An older HYIP, coinprofits.net, was logged by monitors as stopped paying in July 2016 after plans such as 135% in one day. That is a different domain and a different year. It is noted so the name's history is visible, not so the two sites are treated as one company.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • Instagram contact and a London story
  • a verification fee that appears only at withdrawal
  • a second percentage demanded after the first fee is paid
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my Coinprofits account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at coinprofits.club. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as Coinprofits.

Coinprofits says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
