Yes. Coinhubx is an OSC-warned fake-wallet operation whose name is engineered to borrow the footprint of Coinhub, the legitimate US Bitcoin-ATM operator The notices are written once, in the block below. If you paid coinhubx.net, the date and how you paid are the part this review cannot see.

What the notices say

  • OSC investor warning (June 9–30, 2026 batch): Coinhubx is not registered in Ontario.
  • Cybertrace's “Fake Crypto Wallet Websites” list (11 Sep 2026) explicitly includes coinhubx.net among known fake-wallet scam sites.
  • The fake-wallet mechanics: a displayed balance, blocked transfers, and “verification” fees demanded to unlock your own money.
  • Disambiguation, stated plainly and prominently: Coinhub — the US Bitcoin ATM operator with legitimate press coverage (Boston Globe, 22 Jul 2026) — is unrelated. The scam name is designed to inherit Coinhub's search footprint; the real company is a victim of the confusion, not a participant.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • a wallet UI showing balances that cannot be transferred
  • “verification fees” to release your own funds
  • brand-borrowing from a legitimate ATM network
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my Coinhubx account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at coinhubx.net. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as Coinhubx.

Coinhubx says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
