BlockDAG Review — Is BlockDAG a Scam?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold this account, we cannot close a balance, and we do not phone you as this firm.

Yes. BlockDAG is a Layer-1 crypto presale (BDAG token) that claimed $442M raised across a two-year sale — anchored by a formal Seychelles FSA warning, a dissolved entity, and an on-chain investigator’s exposure of the concealed founder. The notices are written once, in the block below. If you paid blockdag.com, the date and how you paid are the part this review cannot see.

What the notices say

  • The Seychelles FSA issued a formal warning (March 2025) over unauthorised activity under the VASP Act; the entity, DAG Systems Ltd, was struck off on 1 April 2025. The claimed Swiss registration is unverifiable, and the Samoa registrar shows no record of Dag Systems Ltd (per DL News).
  • On-chain investigator ZachXBT (Aug–Oct 2025) publicly labelled BlockDAG a fake project: a 1.5+ year presale, fabricated raise numbers, and presale funds moving through Middle Eastern OTC brokers. He named the concealed founder, Gurhan Kiziloz — founder of the FCA-warned fintech Lanistar, later liquidated with £17M+ debts. Kiziloz himself confirmed the founder role in a December 2025 AMA.
  • DL News (January 2026): $442M claimed versus ~$200M admitted by the CEO — a $240M gap in the headline number; X-Series miners paid for but never delivered; unpaid employees and contractors; breached contracts; one Australian investor lost ~$25,000 with neither miners nor tokens delivered.
  • Manufactured urgency as a system: “final deadline” extensions ran June 2025 → August 2025 → January/February 2026, with the presale ending 2 February 2026 and listing dates continuing to slip. Critics on YouTube were hit with copyright strikes, and the founder’s name was auto-censored in the official Telegram.
  • The whitepaper resembles Kaspa’s, GitHub activity is minimal for a project with a huge ad budget, and both the core project’s own conduct AND separate impersonator presale sites copying it are documented — investors have been burned from both directions. At research time the site showed only a maintenance page.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • presale tokens or “miners” paid for but never delivered
  • “final deadline” countdowns that keep extending for months
  • refund requests refused, or withdrawal-fee/tax demands before release
  • questions about fund movements deleted or censored in community channels
  • impersonator “BDAG presale” sites running the same playbook under the same name
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my BlockDAG account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at blockdag.com. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as BlockDAG.

BlockDAG says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
