Athena AI Review — Is Athena AI a Scam?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold this account, we cannot close a balance, and we do not phone you as this firm.

Yes. Athena AI is a label pasted onto fake crypto-trading “lessons”, not a single licensed broker The notices are written once, in the block below. If you paid athenachat.ai, the date and how you paid are the part this review cannot see.

What the notices say

  • BBB Scam Tracker 1218386 (10 March 2026, victim account, not independently verified by BBB): a WhatsApp then Signal “class” promoted an Athena trading system and GDNR, moved the victim onto Watsans Exchange at m.watsans.site, showed 300–700% gains on a $700 test, then locked the wallet. Reported loss $360,000. Named personas include Sabrina Marlowe, Douglas Hawthorne and Alan Merrit.
  • BBB Scam Tracker 1154731 (7 January 2026, same caveat): an “athena AI program” for crypto futures, a test balance, then a deposit demand to prove the account, on slogem.com under the name Starpronto Prosperity Group. Reported loss $1,700. Personas named: Sophia Marlowe, Gregory Hawthorne, Cyrus Aldridge.
  • The repeating costume is the finding: Athena is the “AI system”, the money sits on a different fake exchange, and the teacher names rhyme across reports. ScamDOX lists athenachat.ai as an active domain in a crypto cluster from May 2026 — a scanner observation, not a regulator warning. Legitimate Athena chatbot products are unrelated. A recovery-blog narrative about a “Dimovo” case is not used here, because that article ends in a recovery-service pitch.
Loss or this pattern

A trading loss and this pattern are not the same

A trading loss is a real position that moved against you. You can see the trade. The pattern below is a different event.

  • a messaging-app class that gives you test money and spectacular gains
  • a handoff onto a named exchange you had never heard of
  • a locked wallet, a margin call, or a fee to prove the account is real
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you close my Athena AI account, or have the person who phoned me call again?

Forensics Source Group is not affiliated to this broker. We do not hold an account at athenachat.ai. We cannot confirm a balance, close an account, or phone you as Athena AI.

Athena AI says I must pay a tax or fee before withdrawing — should I?

No. A real broker deducts a fee from the balance. A new payment to release your own money is a second charge. Keep the message that asked for it.

What do you do with what I send?

We place it next to the record above. Where the same payment shows up from other people, those files can sit together as a class action. The first look is free.
